Specialties Food Mission – Did you know we treat our food just like our customers? We’re always focused on the best possible option – from vegetarian to gluten to low-cal to ingredients without rBGH, steroids, trans fat or MSG. History Established in 2000 The first Moe’s restaurant opened in Atlanta, GA on December 1, 2000, and offered burritos, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, salads and fajitas. Guests could choose from over 25 fresh ingredients including grilled chicken, steak or tofu. There were meals just for kids, beverages just for adults, and free chips and salsa for all guests to enjoy with every meal. To demonstrate their commitment to freshness, Moe’s has never used freezers, microwaves, animal fat, lard, or MSG. Over the years, Moe’s has added ground beef, pulled pork, bacon and Junior burritos to the menu and has featured popular limited time offers like the Chicken Club Quesadilla and Phil E. Burrito. Meet the Business Owner:
Toby N. Goldenplate, LLC d/b/a Moe’s Southwest Grill opened up its first store in fall of 2005 in Fishers, IN by owners Chris Young (marketing background) and Toby Nunley (operations and quality background). It became apparent early on that Moe’s was not just a great dine-in restaurant, but the food traveled well and stayed fresh for catering. This epiphany was the beginning of what would become one of the most successful catering enterprises in the Indianapolis area. Moe’s Southwest Grill in Fishers began an aggressive guerrilla marketing campaign to recruit caterings sales (mainly through pharmaceutical and device reps) directly through each medical office within 60 miles of Indianapolis. Toby and Chris has opened up their south side location at 7853 US 31 S in November of 2008 and will open up IUPUI this winter. Welcome to Moe’s!
